CODY, Sister Frances Mary

Sister Frances Ellen of Jesus OCDM, beloved member of the Carmelite Community Melbourne, peacefully entered eternal life on Thursday 18th April 2024 after suffering a stroke at Mary MacKillop St Vincent’s Aged Care East Hawthorn, where she had been for just over twelve months. Sister was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital and later transferred to Caritas Christi Hospice Kew, where she peacefully entered eternal life. She was in her 68th year and in the 39th year of religious profession. Sister had been a loving member of our community and at the front door graciously welcomed all who came to the Monastery.

May her dear soul rest in the peace of Christ.
