Our amazing Uncle Cole sadly, yet peacefully passed away at his home on Friday 1st May 2020, aged 92 years. 

Dearly loved brother to Phyllis, Melva, Audrey, Doreen, Rex, Joy & Stan. 

Uncle to Andrew, Stephen; David, Betty, Mary, Lena; Joyce, Jeffrey (dec), Laurie, Rhonda, Donald, Lorna; Glen, Bryce, Colin, Robin (dec), Wendy, Joy; Laurie (dec), Tony (dec), Mary (dec), and Rosina. 

In the days preceding he was visited by many who loved and cared for him, which is just a small testament to the amazing impact he had on so many people. The countless memories he leaves behind will live on forever, and everyone who knew or met Uncle Cole has a special story associated with him. While externally his livelihood may have seemed modest, you would never leave his home empty handed, whether it be some of his homemade jam or fares from his recent trip to the markets. His knowledge and wisdom across so many different aspects of life was unparalleled, yet he always sought to learn more. And his desire to share this knowledge with everyone, often resulting in famous hour long Uncle Cole conversations, is one aspect which made him so special and will most likely be the memories people cherish the most. His inspiration, love, laughter & conversations will live on through everyone who was lucky enough to encounter him, and the world was truly a better place for having him a part of it for so many years. 

To the amazing staff from ECH who loved and cared for Uncle Cole, we are forever grateful. Denise, Dr.Sally Tideman, Nurse Merle and the Carers; Angela, Shuba, Teresa, April. And a big thank you to our close family friends Carolyn, Cathryn, MaryAnne and Adelle who cared for Uncle Cole throughout the years.
