Walter passed away peacefully in the Whittle Ward, Royal Hobart Hospital, in the presence of his daughter Alice, and close friends.


Walter was a man of many talents – artist, snooker maestro, builder, surfer – who made great friends over his lifetime.


Sincere thanks to doctors and nurses in the Whittle Ward for their kind and considerate attention to Walter.
