CREAN, Simon

The Board, staff and players past and present at the North Melbourne Football Club are deeply saddened by the passing of former no.1 ticket holder Simon Crean.

Simon maintained a great passion for the Kangaroos throughout his life and career, and he was a regular presence at North Melbourne matches.

Through his time as a political leader he was a prominent and influential figure in Australian life for over three decades.

Our sincere condolences are extended to the Crean family and his many friends and colleagues.
