47574 RAAF WW2 Born 22/4/1923 Cleve, South Australia. Died 20/09/2021 Anglesea, Victoria. Aged 98. Dearly loved husband of Bett (dec) and father of Dianne Strack, Jennifer Darby (dec) and Robert Darby. Respected father-in-law of Colin and Maria. Special Pa of Andrew and Audrey, Philip and Priskila, Jack and Stephanie. Great Pa of Adderton. Youngest son of Jack and Mabel Darby (both dec). Brother to Basil, Vernon, Shirley (all dec). Fond uncle to their families. An amazing man, an amazing life. A man of principle. He was proud of his family and we are proud of him. Thank you from his family to his friends, ongoing friendships made during the many walks of his long life, including TAA, Australian Airlines, Flight Engineers Guild, Freemasons, Anglesea - Trinity Church, RSL, Senior Citizens, Bowling Club, Golf Club, the general community; and beyond.
