Passed away peacefully on 17 January 2025, aged 90.

A private ceremony was held on 28 January 2025 at 1:30pm.

He is now at rest with his beloved wife, Maureen, who was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia.

John was a cherished brother to Joy, brother-in-law to Bill and Bev, and a much-loved uncle, great-uncle, and great-great-uncle.

He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
