Quincy Jones
Remembering Quincy Jones: the legendary music icon, producer, and philanthropist whose profound influence spanned over seven decades and inspired generations.
DAVIES, Colin Neil
29/2/44 – 28/9/24
After 9 years residence
at Alan David Lodge, Charlemont Geelong, Colin died peacefully following multiple infections over the
past months.
His loving family – Pam his wife of 51 years, daughters Bronwyn and Stephanie, his sons-in-law Glenn and Simon,
very much adored grandchildren Rupert, Clancy, Olivia and Curtis alongside his remaining brothers Kenneth and Neville, wish to sincerely thank all of the dedicated, professional and compassionate staff at ADL for their care which extended far beyond that for which they are paid, and created an atmosphere of fun in which he could be happy.
Colin’s sense of humour, intelligence and resilience carried him through many difficult situations resulting in a longer than expected life well spent - his career as technical engineer, marriage and parenthood the icing on the cake. He will be forever missed.
In Colin’s own words “die ya mongrel” in between coughs.
