The NSW branch would like to pass our condolences, to the family and friends of Billy Davis.
They have every right to feel proud of the achievements of their Husband, Father and
Grandfather.
Billy was firstly a committed Unionist, his achievements on behalf of the Sprinkler fitters in regard to the recognition of their trade and licencing is written in the history books.
Never to be forgotten was Billys commitment to the Vietnam conflict and his opposition to Conscription. There is that picture of Billy ( with the Zapata moustache ) leading the largest protest against the war, that occurred in Australia .
Billy was dedicated to ensuring the rights of apprentices and tradesmen alike and preserving the trade.
Rest easy Comrade.
