DEAN, Susan A71, a devoted Wife, Mother of 2, Grandmother of 5, Sister of 2, passed away August 14th, 2014.Born, educated and married in Adelaide, South Australia, mothered 2 children in UK, emigrated to US, lived in Atlanta, Los Angeles, ultimately settling down in San Jose, California.A graduate Geneticist with a Masters in Biology, her career peaked with two decades of research in automated blood cell analysis with Becton Dickenson.At home she was an accomplished seamstress and quilter, loved cultivating roses and lilies, explored new vistas of cooking and book club participation. She is survived by her Husband Peter, Daughter Rosemary, Son Alan, Grandchildren Ryan, Kevin, Emily, Ian, and Brian, and her Brothers Tony and John.Special thanks to Dr. Lewis Haut, MD, and the ICU team of O'Connor Hospital, for their exceptional and compassionate care. Service will be held Wednesday, August 20th, at 11 a.m., at St. Philips Episcopal Church, San Jose, California, USA, with the reception to follow
