DEVINE, John "Colac"

The Board of Directors, Players, Staff and Members of the Geelong Football Club are deeply saddened by the passing of John and extend their sincerest condolences to Marie, his family and many friends. John played 118 games for the Cats (1960-1966), serving as Vice Captain (1961-1966), Senior Coach (1986-1988), was awarded Life Membership in 1993 and elevated to the club’s Hall of Fame in 2022. John was also Captain Coach North Hobart, leading them to 3 premierships between 1967 and 1973. John is remembered as a fearless player and a passionate Geelong man, loved by all his teammates and will be sadly missed.
