Salvatore (Sal) Di Natale of Brunswick West passed away on August 29, 2020 at the age of 72. Sal died comforted by his beloved wife Paula (Pauline) and their children Carmela, Rosita and Joseph.

Sal was born in Floridia, Siracusa, Italy on May 30, 1948, to father Giuseppe Di Natale and mother Carmela Di Natale (née Buggea). Sal and his brother Santo came to Australia in 1956. Sal would later marry the love of his life Paula and their family would grow to include Carmela & Mark, Peter & Rosita, Joseph & Amy and six grandchildren Emmanuel, Liam, Sally, Vivian, Sammy and Raffa.

Sal was a staple of the Melbourne restaurant scene for over 40 years notably working at the Southern Cross Club Grill, Centro Citta and Cams. Sal later owned and operated the Cous Cous restaurant in Black Rock.

Sal was happiest when surrounded by his family, life long friends, good food, red wine and laughter. Sal will be sorely missed by all those who cherished and loved him. Rest In Peace.
