Father,
I will always remember that special smile, that caring heart and that warm
embrace you always gave us. You being there for me, through the good and bad times, no matter what.
You taught me resilience and resourcefulness and how to work hard, with both my hands and mind. You were the best grandfather to Helen, Jonie and Mark. I will give Mark the same lessons you taught to me especially your true grit, tenacity and that anything can be done. "Just get on with it".
We will remember you Dad and the love we will always have for you. You were one of a kind and your name and legacy will live on with what you have accomplished in your life. You were a giant amongst men. You have truly earned your
rest in eternal peace with Mum and Mark.
Love you Dad. Till we meet again, your son Christo.
Dad, You taught me many life lessons that were always accompanied with a detailed diagram. It was important to you to always be honourable, you were an honourable man. You always said that for all the wealth you gained, your greatest assets were your Grandchildren. You were so very proud of all of them and loved them dearly. Everyone knew you as the great JD – Mr Acratex, but to me you were just my hero, My Dad. Thank you for everything you have done for me and Aaron. You leave behind a legacy that not even heaven can contain. I am so very proud of you, you gave it everything you had right up until the end. Rest in eternal peace Dad, I hope your dancing to Cat Stevens with Mum in your arms.
I love you, Yiota, Aaron, Jonathon & Markayla xxx
Thank you Pappou for everthing, I miss you already and love you unconditionally. My dear Pappou how I will miss going to the farm, going hunting and I will miss the life lessons you would tell me. Growing up you were the greatest inspiration for all of the family. Until we meet again in the next life, farewell Pappou and bless you.
Jonathon x
Pappou, you were the biggest role model in my life. You taught me so much and gave me so much advice. You were an amazing Pappou to me and I will forever cherish all of our memories in my heart, I love you so much.
Till we meet again, Markayla xxx
To my dearest Daddy,
My heart is eternally broken. Just as I was ready to come back to you a cruel twist of fate took you away from me too soon. You are my superhero - then, now and forever. My beloved Father. The most dynamic and charismatic person in a room. You are the greatest teacher and role model I could have asked for. The lessons you have taught me will guide me as I continue to raise my own family, your precious grandchildren. Thank you for allowing me to spread my wings in Melbourne.
A distance that only served to bring us even closer together.
There is now another piece of me missing. Keep it safe with you until we meet again. Rest in eternal peace reunited in the loving arms of Mum and Mark.
I love you beyond measure.
Your loving daughter
Connie, Trent, Jamie and Aidan xxx
