DOHERTY. - Geoffrey William. 24.05.1923 - 07.07.2012 Life long love and husband of Rose (dec.). Devoted himself to his 3 daughters Donna, Pauline and Sue, loved and respected his boys, sons-in-law Alan and Ross, lost his heart to his grandchildren Lisa, Dean, Brad, Penny, Michael and Karly and stood tall as they chose their life partners Ben, Rachel, Colleen, Glenn, Rachael and Tony. Proudly celebrated his great grandchildren Lani, Jonathan, Summer and Eva, Bridget and Emily. We were blessed to have such a wonderful person in our lives, he was a quiet achiever, took delight in sitting back and letting others shine, there was a twinkle in his eye, he was strong in spirit and physically 'fit as a Mallee bull', a memory that was amazing and a mind like a sponge, an observer with the best sense of humour. His life was all about 'family' and he made us all feel secure in his love. Take our love with you, and we'll hold onto your love which is cemented in our hearts. See later paper for Funeral details
