Michael Edward Doherty

the lay faithful of the

Archdiocese of Adelaide.

Passed away at

Royal Adelaide Hospital,

South Australia

on Saturday November 18, 2023,

age 89.

Fr Michael was a

much-loved priest of the

Archdiocese and served as

Assistant Priest in the

Parishes of Woodville, Tranmere,

Hectorville, and

Parish Priest in the Parishes of

Pinnaroo, Stirling, Strathalbyn and

Virigina-Two Wells.

He also held the position of

Director of

Pontifical Mission Societies.

Father Michael will be

lovingly remembered

with deep gratitude

for his service over nearly 66 years

in the Archdiocese of Adelaide

and deeply missed.
