DONALD, Rodney John

14.4.1969 - 20.9.2022

Passed away as a result of motorbike accident.

Loving father of

Ben and Luke.

Loved son of Jim and June.

Brother of Paul, Vicki

and Leesa.

Brother-in-law of Julie, Dave and Warren.

A great uncle to his

nieces and nephews.

A great mate to many.

I forgot to read the fine print, when I signed up

to be your mum.

I thought it would be

hugs and smiles and

quite a lot of fun.

I didn't see the bit that read of pain and loss

and grief.

I didn't know that

you'd be gone and life would be unfair.

But I am still your mum and will be every day.

If I had read the fine

print I would have

signed up anyway.

I know you soar above us and that your heart has wings. I know that you have peace at last

until we meet again.

Forever your Mum & Dad.

Words cannot describe the sadness I feel.

Rod, you have left a huge hole in my heart.

You will always be loved and live in my memories forever.

I will miss you.

RIP little brother.

You are free now.

Love always Paul, Julie, Gemma, Adam, Sandi and Summer

Rod, Our world has been torn apart after the sudden loss of you. You touched the heart of

many you met in some way or another.

Our world will never be the same, such a huge impact on not only my life as a little brother,

but also my children's

lives as well. We will forever treasure every moment we spent with you. I will never forget your life lessons.

Ride like thunder, crash like lightening.

You will be sadly missed. Forever held in our hearts.

RIP Rod

Vicki and David,

Andrew, Carlee and Brooklynn.

P.S. Sorry I couldn't bury Harley with you, your other requests will be fulfilled.

Rod, If only I had five minutes, the day you passed away. I would have had time to tell you all the things I needed to say.

While reflecting back on our life's journey together I see a long and winding road, with many twists and turns and bumps around the bend, recently a fork where our journey together came to an unfortunate end.

Now as I walk down memory lane remembering the times we loved spending our days and nights together when it was all about family. The conversations you started, which were so often controversial, showed your flair for comic.

We know you soar above us and that your heart has wings. I know you have peace now and we will meet again.

Leesa and Warren, Nicholas, Hayden, Dillon, Olivia, Riley, Heidi, Georgia and Parker.
