DORAN, Craig Robert. _You were always my big brother. The times I asked for your help, you never once said no and vice versa. We would lie for each other when we were kids and I'd cover for you when you would sneak out at nights to visit your girlfriends. As we got older, I was there for you in your dark times when you questioned life and the good times when you wanted to party. I was there to console you when friends, family and siblings were scarce. I'll never forget how some people treated you before you were sick and how this hurt you simply because you enjoyed a drink, a party and to chase the ladies. When you were first diagnosed and throughout your transplant and recovery, you only trusted Mum and me to be by your side, I am so proud of this. Through the whole ordeal you were such a man and never questioned why and I learnedso much from you. I was there for you every day and for everything you endured until your return to the casino. I was there to shoulder the care and reasonability for us when Mum passed away and I travelled to QLD to kiss Rebecca goodbye for us after her passing. But I wasn't there for you in your final days and I regret this so much. We fought like cats and dogs since we were kids, and as you would say "It's like the scorpion, it's just our nature"... it was something only you and I would understand. I'm so sorry mate,I thought we had more time. Sleep peacefully now Craig.Thank you to everyone who has ever helped or cared for Craig, especially in his final days. Thank you to my dear sister Rebecca (deceased) for enduring the harvesting of her stem cells to give Craig the final years he deserved.
