JD, your friendship, guidance and advice over the years has been invaluable to many; none-more than me.

When it comes to the principles of unionism and what it is to be a union man, you set the benchmark for the rest of us to follow.

You will be sadly missed; however, I know that your leadership will continue to live on through this union for many years.

And personally, thank you for your dedication, service, loyalty, and mentorship.
