DOWNING. - George Edward (Ted), passed away peacefully at Monash Medical Centre, on Saturday, June 7, 2003, surrounded by his loving family. Adored husband and pal of Gwen, we had 62 wonderful years. What am I going to do without you, your passing has left me feeling empty and sad but I have many treasured memories of the love that we had. You were loved by many and you will leave a void in the lives of everyone you touched. Much adored father of Sandra and Sue (dec.), loved father-in- law to Peter and Garry. A very special and cherished "Pa" to Nicole and Tim, Ailsa, Chad, Troy and Riann. Great grandfather (Pop) to Hayley, Rachel and a new baby due to be born in September. Remembered with much love and affection by Lance, Julia and Cass. A sweet, gentle and loving man who will be very sadly missed by all who he loved.
