Dr. Sam Nitchingham The community of Virginia and surrounding districts sincerely wish to express their heartfelt condolences to Marina and family on the passing of Dr. Sam Nitchingham. Our hearts and thoughts are with you all during this time of grieving. Please know that you are not alone in remembering Sam, a truly wonderful and compassionate man. Dr. Sam was a highly respected member of our community whose commitment, passion and dedication was unprecedented. Sam arrived in our community in 1980 as a young married doctor with a dream of helping others - he accomplished this and so much more. Over the next 40 years with his passion and hard work he established not one, but many other medical centres. After having many different locations within the town centre, he finally built his own premises which has now been there for more than 20 years. This enabled him to provide healthcare for more than four generations in the community. Dr. Sam not only helped the community with healthcare but he was also a strong advocate of giving back into our community by supporting our sporting groups and many others. He was also a strong advocate for returning banking back into our community. Dr. Sam you touched so many lives. You will be remembered for your dedication, caring and respect. We were blessed to have you as our general practitioner and friend. You will be sadly missed by all. Rest in Peace
