DUNLOP, Alexis John

DUNLOP. - Reverend Father Alexis John (Lex). He was ordained on July 25, 1943. He served as Assistant Priest at Williamstown, 1943-1947; Bacchus Marsh 1947-1949; Camberwell 1949-1951; West Melbourne 1951-1956; and Geelong September 1956 - November 1956. He was appointed Parish Priest of Korumburra 1956-1964; Lalor 1964-1965; Bundoora 1965-1975; Trentham 1978-1979 and Lancefield 1979-1992. On Jan. 22, 1992 he retired and was appointed Pastor Emeritus. He died Mar. 18, 2006 at Caritas Christi, at the age of 89 years 9 months.
