27/12/1945 - 18/05/2020
Mum was truly remarkable.
She was inspirational, brave and fearless – she was always on the go and always laughing.
As one of her friends said ‘she sparkled and her light will be missed’.
Mum had a fierce determination to not let cancer destroy her, so she faced it head-on and lived her life.
She will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her – her life-long friends and neighbours, her days at the Bank of NSW, Westpac and the Kidney Foundation, her days as a kindy teacher, her sewing, crafting, scrapbooking and book club friends, the Liberal Party involvement she had, all of the volunteer work she did, all of her travelling companions and of course everyone she knew because of her cancer treatment over almost 20 years.
Her family will love her forever and always remember her.
A memorial service will be held following coronavirus restrictions.
