The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
DURRANT. - May, passed away on May 30, 2002. Much loved wife of Bill (dec.), loving mother of Pauline and Pamela, mother- in-law of John and Barry, treasured Gran to Michael, Kalee, Adrian and Marnee. You brought us into the world What could we give back to you? How can we ever repay you For the precious gift of life. We wish we had your strength, wisdom And the power to believe. We'll put you on a pedestal And if we can live a life which is half as good as yours Then we will have achieved something worth while. We certainly had our moments And for all the times we caused you pain We're sorry. Thank you sounds so easy to say The lesson we've learnt is to say it every day. - Your loving daughters Pauline and Pam.
