by his side.
Aged 69 years.
Much loved husband of Judy.
Loved only son of
Robert and Kathleen.
Father of Travis.
Step-father of Jo and Steve,
Sue and Matthew.
Grandfather and Great Grandfather.
Much loved and loving brother of Robyn and Rob.
Fond uncle of Jarrod, Melissa and Heath.
Much loved son-in-law of Hazel.
In accordance to his wishes Geoffrey was privately cremated.
It is with much sadness that we say goodbye to Geoff after spending the past 5.5 years in Morpeth and Wesley Aged Care facilities.
It is sad for us but he had asked that we not be sad for him.
A special thanks to his sister Robyn for being there until
the end with me, he knew we were there and he would have liked that.
Thanks to those who cared enough for Geoff to stick with us right to the end, you will know who you are.
Thanks to the Director of Nursing Louise and the caring staff of both Morpeth and Wesley Aged Care facilities, you are our other family.
RIP dear Geoffrey, you deserve it after your brave struggle with the insidious disease of MS. You were given this life because you were strong and brave enough to live it. You were the most selfless person I have ever known and I thank you for loving me.
I will never forget our journey together, Love Judy.
Dearly loved brother of Robyn and Rob, loved and respected Uncle of Jarrod, Melissa, Heath and families.
You suffered for years without complaint, with dignity, not always perfect, but always inspiring those who knew and admired you. Wonderful memories of rocking horses, pinatas patiently made for grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Little brother you gave us your last wink and thumbs up, finally you have found the peace you have wanted for such a long time. Rest now.
Judy, thank you so very much for your continous love, dedication and care of Geoff.
Geoff "Grandpa" Edwards
