Passed away at
Royal Adelaide Hospital,
South Australia
on September 19, 2023,
aged 90.
Monsignor Rob was a
much-loved Priest of the
Archdiocese and served as
Assistant Priest in the Parishes
of Croydon and Brighton,
Parish Priest in the Parishes
of Morphett Vale and
Seacombe Gardens,
and Team Leader
in the Salisbury Parish.
He also served
over the years as a Member
of the Council of Priests,
College of Consultors,
Priestly Life and Ministry,
Chaplain part-time at
Flinders University
and Dean of the
Southern Deanery.
Mosignor Rob was appointed
to the position of Vicar General
in 1990 for a term of five years
and received Prelate of
Honour in 2002 with
the title of Monsignor.
He was a passionate
advocate in promoting
Vocations in our Archdiocese.
Monsignor Rob will be
lovingly remembered
with deep gratitude for
his service for over 66 years
in the Archdiocese of Adelaide,
and deeply missed by all.
