Passed away peacefully on 22 August 2024, aged 84 years. Loving father of Ross and Isabella. Adored grandfather of Joel, Luke, and Benjamin. Norman was a proud Haileyburian (1958) and served as Vice-Captain, Cadet Under Officer and Captain of Football and Athletics. He was amongst the first players to debut for Old Haileybury Amateur Football Club in their inaugural 1961 season, he played 13 games and as a half back kicked 7 goals. Norman became a devoted retail pharmacist, and for two decades served and cared for thousands of loyal customers visiting his Balwyn pharmacy (1970s) and then Ashburton (1980s). Norman went on to become a very skilled investigator for the Health Insurance Commission. In his retirement Norman was a keen gardener and took great pride in his roses.
