Joan was preceded by her husband Thomas George (George) Eiszele. She is survived by her children: Georgina Lockington-Milsom; Harvey Eiszele; Annette Donoghue; Lanna Tran; and by her grandchildren: James Lockington and Caitlin Eiszele.

She will be remembered for her practical faith and her extensive volunteer work with refugees.
