With sorrow, we announce the passing of Dorothy Jean Ellen (nee Lanyon)
A beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who left us peacefully at the age of 91 on
Thursday 22 August 2024. Born on 16 March 1933, Dorothy graced our lives with her unwavering humour, generosity, and remarkable spirit.
Her laughter was a constant source of joy, her kindness towards others was boundless
and her quirky sense of humour always put a smile on people’s faces.
Dorothy touched countless lives with her giving heart and infectious laugh, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Beloved wife of Geoff (deceased) and loving mother of Bruce (deceased),
Graeme and Tim. Grandmother of Ashleigh & Jarrod, Nick, Samuel, Sophie and mother in law of
Debbie and Janine.
Rest in peace, dear “Dot”. Your light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
