FIELDING, Shirley

It is with tremendous sadness that Shirley May Fielding passed away in the early hours of Sunday 4th April 2021 at the Austin Hospital aged 90 years.

Wife of 70 years to William George Fielding, who was by her side for much of her last days and hours, is understandably devastated by the passing of his life-long friend and partner.

Shirley's 16 children - Glenn, Kaye, Neil, Carol, Colin, Debra, Steven, Ross, Sandra, Lisa, Peter, Paul, Craig, Mark, Jan and Nicole - were all able to spend precious time with their mum before she passed and will forever retain the memories created over the past seven decades.

Shirley's 34 Grandchildren - Leanne, Terrie, Mathew, Nicholas, James, Peta, Campbell, Luke, Kate, Bronwen, Hannah, Gabrielle, Rhys, Tess, Cynthia, Daniel, Ben, Megan, Alexandra, Laura, Eric, Max, Justin, Shae, Jack, Nathan, Oscar, Dylan, Clare, Alan, Lily, Anisa, Gopal and Aisha - are heart broken by their grandma's passing, with a number also able to share special messages of love and admiration in her final time with us.

Shirley's Great Grandchildren - Liam, Lauren, Sienna, Alessia, Zion and Hudson - with most of their lives ahead of them, will have a lifetime of "Fielding" stories told to them by their parents, great uncles and aunties and their cousins.

How do you describe a person who has left behind such a legacy?

Simply Amazing!
