Sr. Joan a much-loved member of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, died on 29th March 2024, aged 92 years at Berengarra Aged Care Facility, Kew. We are deeply saddened by the loss of our much-loved sister and trust in her continued presence with us in a new way. We extend our sympathy to her family members, especially her sister Margaret Flaxman. We are very grateful for the gift of Sr. Joan in our lives and for her faithful service over 70 years to our Congregation.

We thank especially the staff, nurses and Dr. Michael Hum at Berengarra who cared for her over the past few months. May she rest in peace now in the all-embracing Love of God.
