You touched the hearts of everyone you met; always caring and interested and making each person feel special. Your passion for life, history, the arts and travel was contagious. You inspired us all, especially with your pursuit of social justice and the environment, motivated us to follow our dreams and gave us the confidence to do so. And your courage, dignity and thoughtfulness, even in your last hours, was awe inspiring.

We laughed with you, we sang with you, we danced with you, we cried with you, and we will cherish our memories of you forever.
