FRASER, Kenneth 'Ken' Ian

FRASER, Kenneth 'Ken' Ian Late of Toowoomba, formerly of Tasmania (Deloraine) and Brisbane (Herston and Rainworth), after a long illness passed away at home on 16 October, 2017, aged 56 years. Dearly loved Brother of Donna (and Barry), Bruce (and Diane), and Stephen (and Helen), and Uncle and Grand Uncle to the wider family. Ken will be sadly missed by his extended family and workmates, and his many bush walking and motor cycling friends throughout Australia. Many thanks to health professionals in Toowoomba community and at Toowoomba Hospital, and at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, who treated Ken with skill, dignity and respect. A special thanks to Ken's GP, Dr Coetzee (Dr Tony to Ken), who extended exceptional care and treatment over several years. Ken was a medically challenging patient, and all of your efforts that allowed him to enjoy his final days in his home surrounds are greatly appreciated. Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend Ken's funeral service, to be held at Rangeville Community Church, cnr Stenner and Mackenzie Streets, Toowoomba, commencing at 10.30am, Monday, 30th October, 2017. This will be followed afterwards by a committal service at the T.S. Burstow Chapel, 1020 Ruthven Street (south), Toowoomba. No flowers by request. Ken endured Crohn's disease, an insidious and debilitating illness, not yet given the significance it deserves.
