GEARD, Paul

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Paul Geard. Paul was a Hon Life Member, Hon Life Councillor, past President, exhibitor, and significant contributor to the Society for 70 years. In 2019 Paul & Elizabeth were awarded our highest honour as Living Legends of the Royal Hobart Show. He formed many lifelong friendships through the Society, the Show, and the Cattle shed. He was very well respected by all. His passing is a major loss to the Society. Our sincere condolences to his wife Elizabeth, and the extended Geard family, many of whom maintain an active interest in the Show thanks to Paul. May he rest in peace.
