GEIA, Betty Snr (Nana). Aged 85 years. Late of Palm Island, Bwgcolman Elder and Kalkadoon Woman. Foundation and life member of Palm Island Netball. BETTY was called home to be with God peacefully, on Wednesday 26/9/2012 at 9.15 am at the Townsville Hospital. Beloved wife of Thomas Joseph Geia (deceased) and beloved Mother of 10, Mother-in-law, Grandmother of 36, and Great Grandmother of 55, Beloved Sister, Sister-in-law and Aunty, and Big Nana and Aunty to so many. Blessed Assurance - Our darling in Heaven Family and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a celebration of life for the late BETTY GEIA SNR which will commence at 11.45 am FRIDAY 5th OCTOBER, 2012 at the PCYC Community Centre Palm Island. The Cortege will then proceed to the Palm Island Cemetery. A VIEWING will be held at BETTY'S home Bentley Street Palm Island, from 9.30 to 11.00 am.
