GILHAM (nee Cooper) Leone (Lee) Diane Lee, passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 20, 2001 at Cabrini, Prahran. Dearly loved daughter of Ronald and Kathleen (both dec.). Adored mother of Di and James. Loving wife to Peter (dec.), loved mother-in- law to George. Dearly loved and loving sister and sister-in-law to Lyn and Eleanor, Peter (dec.), Bill and Ray and loved Aunty Lee to Chris and Helen, Kathy, Paul, Thomas and Kate. My beautiful Mum, You inspired us with your strength, passion and generosity. We will cherish the memories and hold you forever in our hearts. I will always love you God Bless. - Di. Every day I need you Lord, But this day especially. I need some extra strength, To face whatever is to be. This day more than any day, I need to feel you near, To fortify my courage, And to overcome my fear. By myself I cannot meet, The challenge of the hour, There are times when humans help, But we need a higher power, To assist us bear what must be borne, And so dear Lord I pray, Hold onto my trembling hand, And be near me today. Mum, My beautiful, brave, strong, loving, caring Mum, thank you so very much for being you and loving me. You have taught me about life and love, strength and responsibility. I am me, because of you and for this I thank you. I will live my lifenow by your wonderful example. I love you with every fibre of my being and I miss you. - James.
