Passed away peacefully at Bellingen Hospital surrounded by family.
Loving and caring husband of Marion. Adored and cherished father of John, Ian and Adam and father-in-law of Vanessa, Helen and Shireen. Devoted and loved grandfather of Alanna, Cassandra, Madalyn, Huon, Caitlan, Natalie and Jasmin. Great grandfather of Harley and Oliver. Admired brother of David, Jan (deceased) and Margaret (Meg) and brother-in-law of Maggie, Les, Doug, Norma & Bob (deceased), Robert (deceased) & Vicky (deceased). Much loved uncle, cousin and relative of many.
A life of integrity and caring will continue to enrich our world and our community as a result of his thoughts, words and deeds that touched and improved so many of us. He sought to nourish and encourage all he encountered throughout his career as a teacher, his activities in numerous community organisations and his passion for social justice. He will be missed.
Blair has been privately cremated but the family would like to warmly invite all who may have encountered him in life to a celebration of his existence at: Raleigh Hall, Walter Street, Raleigh at 12 noon on 19th October 2019.
