With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Geoffrey Alan Graham on June 10, 2024, at his home in Shearwater, TAS. Geoffrey was a beloved husband, father, and friend whose memory will forever remain in our hearts.
Born on June 26, 1947, in Scottsdale, Tasmania, Geoffrey is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Anne Graham, and their children, Stuart Geoffrey (50) and Samantha Anne (47). He was the cherished son of Alan and Lois (née Watts) Graham.
Geoff was a strong contributor to the community in the North and South of the state through strong friendships and connections nurtured by his passion for golf.
Geoffrey’s legacy in Tasmanian football is fondly remembered. His role as centre half-forward in the Tasmanian team that played Victoria at York Park in 1975, his contributions to the 1964 Scottsdale NTFL premiership team, and the 1975 premiership-winning Glenorchy team in the TFL highlight his impactful career.
Geoff's memory lives on through the countless lives he touched, the friends he made, and the love he shared with his family. His spirit will continue to inspire us all.
