Passed away peacefully on Thursday 31st October 2019. Aged 104 years 5th Lighthorse Regiment (Mundubbera Troop) 2/9th Bat. 18 Brigade FTD Div Lance Sergeant – QX37885

Beloved husband of Myrtle. Dearly loved father of Ann. Cherished brother of Valentine (Dec’d), Joyce McGregor, Irene Keding (Dec’d) and Kevin (Dec’d). Cherished Uncle, Great Uncle and Great Great Uncle. A great friend to all who knew him.

Athol was laid to rest on Monday 11th November at Chinchilla Monumental Cemetery followed by a graveside RSL Veteran Funeral Service.

A Lighthorse Guard of Honour lead the cortege to the Chinchilla Cemetery.
