The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
HARRIS. _ Wilma Frances. Aged 84 passed away suddenly at home. Oh my darling, my darling Wilma mine. You potter no more in the garden. You stroll no more down the path, but the years we shared together will live forever in my heart. We could not say our last farewell or even say goodbye. You were gone before I knew it and I can't understand why. _ Your loving husband Don. When you lose someone you care for, winter moves into your heart. It freezes all the happiness out and tears your feelings apart. But the hands of time keep moving, our grieving hearts will find, the days of sorrow will gradually pass leaving beautiful memories behind. May the winds of love blow softly on that quiet and restful place, where the one we love is sleeping who can never be replaced. Rest in peace Mum. You will always be with us. _ Pauline, Larry, Kim, Mark, Michael (dec.), Sarah (dec.), Andrew, Jessie and Emma.
