HAYES Dr Barbara Ann OAM Passed away in Townsville Qld on St Patrick's Day, Mar. 17, 2014. We give thanks for the life of Barbara, a loved and faithful member of the Mariana Community. Barbara lived her life of love in and for the world in many ways, but most significantly, will be remembered for her pioneering promotion of the profession of nursing and nursing education both in Melbourne and as Foundation Professor of Nursing at James Cook University, Townsville Qld. A Memorial Eucharist will be held to celebrate Barbara's life on Saturday, Apr. 12, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Pallottine College, 85 Studley Park Rd, Kew Vic.
