Joan Ethel Heraud 11 January 1926 - 5 December 2024
Passed away peacefully at Lifeview The Willows, where she had lived comfortably for the last four years.
Joan was a true force of nature and had a big impact on the whole of Lifeview. She showed no signs of dementia and often guided the staff on how to run the place when she wasn't engaged in crossword puzzles and other activities.
Born at home in East St Kilda, she was christened Joan Ethel McLachlan (nee McGregor).
Joan was much loved by her two sons, Philip and Ian, and later by her grandchildren, Andrew, David, Jacki, and Hannah Williams. She was delighted when her grandchildren gave her seven great-grandchildren: Jack, Florence, Sophie, Peta, Indiana, and Frida.
Joan was a smart and tough person who lived life to the max.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Resting Peacefully.
