The passing of our beloved friend and ex-colleague, Bill Hignett, has left our hearts heavy beyond measure.

Bill’s passion and dedication to the AEU, its members, and public education will be sorely missed. His unwavering commitment to reconciliation and Aboriginal rights will be remembered as a beacon of hope and progress.

May his legacy continue to inspire positive change.
