Quincy Jones
Remembering Quincy Jones: the legendary music icon, producer, and philanthropist whose profound influence spanned over seven decades and inspired generations.
Clive Perry Hildebrand died peacefully in Brisbane on Sunday evening, aged 85. Dearly beloved husband to Nita, and brother to Aileen, Robert and Kathi. Loving father to Anna, Peter, Greg and Denzil, and father-in-law to Allayne, DukSoon, Hans and Michelle. Doting grandfather to Caitlin, Elias, Georgia, Helena, Isabella, Jack, Madeleine and Rosie. Clive’s career as a mining executive took him around the world but all the while he had his feet planted solidly on the ground. He touched the lives of many. He served Griffith University and the Institute of International Affairs to name a few, and enjoyed high jinks at his SNAFU club. Clive was a generous and loving family man who adored his wife Nita. He was an avid letter writer, played guitar, loved a singalong, and rowed most mornings on the Brisbane River. A celebration of life will be held at Hillstone, Grand View Room, St Lucia Golf Links, Carawa Street, St Lucia 4067 on Tuesday 4 July at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Youth Plus Foundation, Greg Hildebrand Award would be appreciated.
You dared to live life to the full: courageously, generously, loyally, lovingly
