It is with the greatest sadness that the death of Dr Jeffery Robert Hooper is publicly announced. After a long and incredibly courageous battle with cancer, Jeff passed away peacefully at the end in the loving and kindest of care at the Mary Potter Hospice, North Adelaide.Sincere thanks to Dr Rachel Roberts Thompson and Dr Jennie Wright.
Jeff’s larger than life personality, his wicked sense of humour, his dedication to his profession of dentistry and the care of his patients for over 50 years, his enjoyment of the little things as well as the big , endeared him to all who really knew him. We loved him for his kindness and his generosity of heart. We respected his intelligence and enquiring mind and determination to always seek further knowledge, his directness , his insistence on perfection, and his “old school “, genuine values.
To share our life together was a constant and wonderful adventure for 34 amazing years! We certainly packed it in! I am trying to alleviate my deep grief and huge loss by focussing on how lucky we were to find each other in this world.
Love from Kathryn.
