HUNTER, Mavis Catherine (Pat) Pat passed away on Friday July 6th in the Palliative Care Unit, Robina Hospital supported by her family after a long and brave battle with cancer. Pat was a long time resident of the Gold Coast, even though her family lived in New Zealand and she considered it her home. Pat loved her life on the Gold Coast, having operated a small, successful business, enjoying the lifestyle and many close friends. Pat s family appreciate the support given to her during her illness and the contact made after her death. We particularly wish to thank the staff and friends at Pine Lake Village and the Palliative Care team. In accordance with Pat s very specific wishes, her family will not be holding a Memorial Service. Her ashes are being returned to New Zealand by her daughter, Debbie. Pat is survived by Debbie and Rod, her Son Stephen, and Grandchildren Christopher, Alice and Sarah. Rest in Peace Pat. Your struggle is finally over. With much love.
