HYNE, Douglas Charles

Douglas Charles Hyne 'Doug', son of Sidney Samuel Hyne and Clarisse Mary Stockham (both dec), brother of Eunice (dec), Arthur (dec) and Phillip. Soulmate to Valda (Val) Kemp (dec) and father figure to Vicki (dec) and David Bouten of Summerland Point, NSW. Uncle and cousin to many Hyne, Stockham and Bonato relatives. Doug passed away in Wyong Hospital after a short illness at the age of 92 years. A skilled designer, inventor, draftsman, engineer and mathematician, Doug made a valuable contribution to the development of innovations in various facets of the sugar industry in North Queensland. Greatly missed by all who knew him. Privately cremated.
