    Jacob Varghese

Jacob Varghese passed away tragically, a long time before he was ready to leave this earth  on January 12th, 2019 at his property in Chinnakinnal, Kerala. Jacob was only 40 years old . He died protecting his families property and honor. Jacob was never one to back down when it came to his values and supporting those he loved most.

He was born in Kottayam , Kerala, India, to KK and Suseela Varghese on August 1st, 1978 .  Husband of Kezia and a devoted, loving father to Netanya Anna Jacob born on the  2nd day of July 2015.
Jacob had a beautiful soul and loved with all of his heart, he was a loving and loyal son to his parents,  his brother Roshan and his sister Suzanna, he was also a cherished Brother in law, Uncle and a good friend to many people around the world.

He was educated in Kerala, India and moved to Adelaide Australia to study Masters in Biotechnology in 2000. While studying he worked part time in Foodland Brighton where some of the staff there became like family to him. He also made many life long friends through Flinders University in Adelaide. Jacob worked and lived in Adelaide for over 11 years before moving to back to Kerela to support his parents in their businesses in 2012. There, he designed, built and started a now very successful Eco friendly resort, "Rhythms of My Mind" on his parents Cardamom plantation in Chinnakinnal, Munnar, Kerala India, which won many awards through Trip Advisor.

Jacob embraced his life in Australia and the Australian  lifestyle. He became an Australian citizen in Adelaide South Australia in 2010.  Jacob was an avid fisherman and loved to go to the river to fish. His favorite spot in SA being Spalding. Many weekends were spent there chasing trout. His love of fishing took him to various locations such as the Derwent river in Tasmania and even whitewater rafting in New Zealand just so he could access the best trout fishing locations. Jacob was passionate when it came to those he loved and the things that took his interest, and he lived life to the fullest.  He loved to laugh - his big, warm smile and larger than life personality left an impression on everyone he met.

Jacob was laid to rest at his family church St Marys Sonoroo, on the 14th of January,  in Elamkulam, Cochin India.

Please pray and give your blessings for Jacob for the 21st day of February,  40 days since his passing from this planet and our lives.*

*Please accept heartfelt apologies for anyone reading this and realising that Jacob's 40 day for his tribute has passed. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control I was unable to post this memorial to Jacob Varghese earlier.

We invite you to pray for Jacob as he rests finally at peace. Hold his memory in your heart, his smile in your minds eye and hear his laughter in the breeze.
