GILSENAN, James Maxwell

It’s with great sadness that our father James passed away peacefully in Cairns QLD, on the 20th January 2021. James spent much of his life working in Papua New Guinea, where he contributed greatly to the development of the nation prior to independence in 1975 to the present. James will be remembered fondly for his support of a great many development projects. Much loved Father to Terry and Debbie, Michael and Nicole, Shaun and Pauline, Brendan and Ning. Loving Grandfather to Robert and Jessica, Rebekah, Cameron; Wesley, Bonnie, Clare; Taylah, Eli, Siann; and Pang and Great grandfather to Ivy and Oscar. James will be remembered for his generosity and love for his family. Due to COVID restrictions a private service will be held.
