Jim Christie, beloved husband of Glenda, father of Mark, Sean, Grant and Lance passed away peacefully on 14 March 2019 in Darwin surrounded by family. Jim, Dad, Grandad, Great-Grandad and Friend leaves a special loving place in all our hearts with memories of his quiet achievements, adventures and character a great testament to the foundations both he and Mum set in place for the boys and their families. God Bless and we know you are now in a higher, peaceful place.The Funeral will be held at the Thorak Regional Cemetary Chapel, Deloraine Road, Knuckey Lagoon NT, Australia at 10am on 15 April 2019.
Donations to a charity of your choice in lieu of floral tributes would be preferred. Please check back as we will update this notice prior to the funeral.
I must say that we were blessed that Dad's passing was truly peaceful and with all the family there to say goodbye prior to his departure, all friends and family would be heartened that an event that was sudden for all of us and certainly tragic was balanced by the way we were able to gather as a family and share our feelings with him this time before he departed.
