Beloved Father and Grandfather, Russell George Jarvis, passed away peacefully on 18/11/2020 at the Austin Hospital Heidelberg with his daughter Susan by his side. A loving husband to Lorna (d.2002), his wife of over 50 years, bringing her breakfast in bed for many of those years. A devoted Father to Susan and Philip (d.1972), a wonderful example and influence to them both. He was a man of gentle strength, with a quiet passion for social justice, a strong faith and was a Polio survivor. He loved to ballroom dance, teaching his children to foxtrot and had a great love of sports, considering himself fortunate to see his beloved Tigers win the ultimate prize in recent years. Russell was 97, and is survived by his daughter Susan, grandchildren Kristofor and Ebony, niece Beverly and nephews David and Geoffrey.
