JOBLING, Albert Henry

JOBLING. _ Albert Henry. 8.6.1920 - 10.11.2014 Aged 94 Years Eldest son of John Albert (Bert) and Eliza Jane Jobling. Brother of Lorna, Jean (Beggs), Ian, Bruce and Pearl (Cockfield) (all dec.). Born at Lalbert, and always a Mallee boy at heart, he farmed at Koroop from 1940 until his death "down the paddock" at his farm on Monday morning. Hung up the shears after crutching his last sheep in October. A man who cared for others all his life, he never stopped looking after his family. Married for 66 years to his "good looking sort" Ena May McConnell (died 2011). Much loved father and father-in-law of Peter and Ellen, Ron and Merle, and Maree. Pop, Grandad J and Great Pop to their families. He saw the Seasons come and go with good humour and a gentle and generous heart. He could make or fix anything. We were blessed to grow up with such a man.
